Tsinandali is a wine appellation in the eastern region of Georgia, right bank of Alazani river where most of the vineyards are located. Tsinandali wine are predominantly white wine made with Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane grapes.
The speciality of Tsinandali from our wine maker Alazani Wine is that they aged the grape juice with Lees, a type of yeast, in stainless steel tank. This makes the wine more balanced in acidity and smoother in tannins.
It has resemblance of Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc, medium to full bodied and buttery or creamy texture to the palate. You’ll get a nose of melon, floral and lightly herbaceous note. Taste of lively citrusy note with hint of melon that lingers in your mouth.
