This collection features our Georgian Wine collection which contains our Alazani Marani, Alazani Qveri, and limited editions Alazani Wines.

Alazani Marani

Marani is a traditional shed that is typically used in Georgia for keeping wines. Its facility is able to protect wines from potentially harmful external influences. It is a dark place that is meant to keep the temperature constantly low and maintain the humidity level reqIn 2013, the Georgian traditional method of aging wine was inscribed in the UNESCO World Register of Intangible Heritage. Despite the fact that this method of Georgian wine-making has existed for 8,000 years, "Qvevri" wine has only recently become known outside of Georgia and is quickly earning worldwide recognition. 

 Alazani Qveri

While Making Qvevri wine, winemakers use the notes written down by the French traveler and archeologist Barod De Bai in 1897 while traveling in Kakheti, Georgia. He went around almost all the villages in Kakheti and made extensive notes about the process and the specifics of making wine in Qvevri, down to the smallest details.

Our winemaker uses this method in its original form and excludes any interference with modern technology. Hence, Qveri is your authentic traditional old-world wine.uired to keep the wines' quality at its best. 

 

Alazani Limited Edition Collection

This wine uses carefully selected hand-picked grapes which are then stored in wooden boxes and are additionally sorted on a special line in the factory.
Before processing, the temperature of these highest quality grapes is dropped to 25°C. The carefully hand-selected grape berries are gently crushed using the pneumatic presses equipped with a central membrane.


This dry red of premium class is aged in the French oak barrels, which are called "Tonnellerie de Jarnac“. Hence, the production volume is limited.
